United ISD Administrators Take The Polar Plunge Challenge

 

United ISD's secondary school principals and administrators took the Polar Plunge in an effort to raise monies for Texas Special Olympics Athletes. This event offers individuals, companies, and organizations a unique opportunity to support more than 58,000 Texas Special Olympic athletes.  Congratulations to United ISD's secondary principals and administrators who took 1st Place in the Polar Plunge, they included; United Middle, George Washington Middle, Los Obispos Middle School, Lamar Bruni Vergara Middle, Clark Middle, United South Middle, Lyndon B. Johnson High, United South High, United High, and Special Education Leadership.  An additional 1st place was also awarded to the United Middle School for the collection of individual funds and for the best costume.  Elementary school principals and administrators will participate in events at their respective campuses in the near future.  A special thanks to Special Education Coordinator Deidra Gutierrez for facilitating this event for United ISD.
