REMOTE CONFERENCING TO ELIGIBLE STUDENTS

United ISD will be offering remote conferencing to eligible students. Remote conferencing is remote instruction where students off campus are able to virtually participate in classes.

The total amount of remote conferencing instruction should not exceed more than 20 instructional days over the entirety of the school year.

Students must meet these two requirements:

1. The student is unable to attend school because of a temporary medical condition
2. The total amount of remote conferencing instruction does not exceed more than 20 instructional days over the entirety of the school year.

In addition, one of the following requirements also must be met:

1. The student’s temporary medical condition is documented by a physician licensed to practice in the United States. The documentation must include a statement from the physician that the student is to remain confined to their home or to a hospital.
2. The student has a positive test result for a communicable condition listed in Texas Administrative Code 25 TAC §97.7.
3. The student has been identified as having been in close contact with COVID-19 and showing COVID-19 related symptoms.

ENSEÑANZA POR VIDEOCONFERENCIA PARA ESTUDIANTES ELEGIBLES

United ISD ofrecerá enseñanza por videoconferencia para los estudiantes elegibles. Enseñanza por videoconferencia es enseñanza virtual en donde los alumnos que se encuentren fuera de la escuela pueden participar virtualmente en las clases.

La cantidad total de días para recibir enseñanza por videoconferencia no debe exceder más de 20 días escolares en todo el ciclo escolar.

Los estudiantes deben cumplir con estos dos requisitos:

1. El estudiante no puede asistir a la escuela debido a una enfermedad temporal
2. La cantidad total de días para recibir enseñanza por videoconferencia no excede más de 20 días de clases en todo el ciclo escolar.

Además, también deben cumplir con uno de los siguientes requisitos:

1. La enfermedad temporal del estudiante está documentada por un médico certificado para ejercer en los EU. La documentación debe incluir una declaración del médico donde estipule que el alumno debe permanecer confinado en su casa o en un hospital.
2. El estudiante tiene un resultado positivo en la prueba para la detección de enfermedades contagiosas que se encuentran en el Código de Administración de Texas 25 TAC §97.7.
3. El estudiante ha sido identificado que tuvo contacto prolongado con una persona contagiada de COVID-19 y muestra síntomas relacionados con esta enfermedad.
