United ISD administration together with Charlie Clark Hyundai surprised three well-deserving employees, Friday morning. The United CARES Champion Employee Recognition program, celebrates the outstanding contributions of employees who consistently go above and beyond in providing exceptional customer service to parents and the broader community.
These employees have been instrumental in ensuring that our district is welcoming, safe, and a supportive environment for students, staff, and parents alike. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the following United CARES Champions for November:
Lorena Meza, Admissions Attendance & Dropout Recovery Dept.
Marisa Garza, Registrar at Gutierrez Elementary
Dominique Robledo, Teacher at Bonnie L. Garcia Elementary
“Every first Friday of the month, we are recognizing individuals across the district who really stand out with the service that they are providing,” explained Rebecca Coss-Morales, Associate Superintendent of Administration & Student Services. “We are truly grateful for their commitment. Their efforts have made a significant impact on our community, and we thank them for going the extra mile in all that they do.”

Dominique Robledo, a Bonnie Garcia Elementary Kindergarten teacher, was surprised inside the classroom with her students and staff cheering her on.

“I was very shocked. It’s very unexpected. Even just talking about it right now is making me a little bit emotional but I do take a lot of pride in my work and great customer service. I think that is the best thing that we as teachers can do,” Robledo added. “I am constantly communicating with parents. Anything and everything that they need I'm always there for them.”

This initiative will continue throughout the school year, as the district highlights more outstanding employees.
Anyone who interacts and/or works with UISD employees is encouraged to provide feedback on their experiences by using the QR codes available at the campuses and departments. This input helps the district continue to improve and serve our community better.
