Calendar Adoption Process
United ISD established an adoption process that provides two calendar options to the Calendar Committee, Departments, Elementary, and Secondary campuses for review. UISD campuses and departments select the district calendar through an internal voting process and submit their final vote to the district. The calendar with the most votes is presented to the UISD school board and reviewed for approval. Once the district calendar is board approved, all other UISD calendars are submitted and presented for board approval.
