Fiscal Operations

The Fiscal Operations Department is responsible for the management, safeguarding, and investment of the assets of the District. The Department ensures the District operates within its budget and that funds are spent and managed according to the goals, objectives, and mission of the District. The Fiscal Operations Department is composed of the Budget Office and the Activity Funds Office, which provides daily oversight on how funds are used and managed.

• Preparation and administration of the District’s Annual Operating Budget
• Oversight of District revenues and expenditures
• Recording and reporting of financial activities
• Administration of Districtwide financial systems: Efinance, EPES, Online School Payment System, Skyward-ADA & FTE’s Student Data

• Creation of internal controls to identify and prevent fraudulent activities by staff or outsiders
• Safeguarding of cash District-wide

• Cash flow
• Investments
• Collateral Management
