United ISD’s Residential Facilities Department proudly serves the Youth Village Detention Center and Youth Recovery Home (SCAN), providing state-mandated education for students in grades 6–12. Our program features comprehensive core curriculum and Edgenuity online courses for credit recovery and course advancement, ensuring students remain on track for high school graduation. We provide dedicated support for special education and 504 students through our highly qualified staff and facilitate all required Texas STAAR and End of Course exams.

 Our mission is to keep every student on the path towards obtaining their high school  diploma.   As pioneer students who are still finding their way for a better life, United ISD is committed to serving these at-risk students to become responsible world citizens by pursuing excellence through life-long learning.

We can’t go back and change the PAST, but WE can start where we are and take the “Journey to a brighter future"!

Enroll your child back in school asap to ensure he/she will gains the credits at the end of each semester.  

What do you need to register your child:

– Light bill

- Tuberculosis exam clearance

Once your child is registered at a campus the school will contact us for his/her records.

We will provide the educational background required so you do not need to worry about the paperwork.
